About the Person

Richard R. Lovely was appointed as Vice President, Global Human Resources at Houghton International in September, 2009. Rich joined Houghton from Rohm and Haas Company where he was the Executive Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to Rohm and Haas, Rich was the Vice President of Human Resources for Tyco Fire & Security, an 85,000 employee $12 billion global division of Tyco International. While at Tyco, Rich chaired the management committee of the Tyco European Works Council. Rich`s global HR experience will play an important part in Houghton`s commitment to develop and grow its international business.    Rich`s earlier career includes progressively more responsible HR roles at PepsiCo and First USA, the credit card business that is now part of JP Morgan Chase. Rich earned an undergraduate degree in Industrial Relations from Cornell University and his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University.
