About the Person
Raphael is the co-founder and CEO of Eargo. He is an international business leader with extensive experience as a medical device executive and as an entrepreneur. He has a passion for creating new technology-based business models and for bringing breakthrough technologies to market. Prior to founding Eargo, he held senior strategic marketing and business development positions at Hansen Medical (Nasdaq: HNSN). He was also the first employee at Vessix Vascular, which was acquired by Boston Scientific. He received advanced training in Engineering, Business, and Management, with an undergraduate degree from École Polytechnique in France, a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford, and an MBA from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
