About the Person

Prithvi Shergill is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at HCL Technologies. He heads the HR team and partners with senior leadership to shape business strategy, identify human capital implications, and design and deploy people practices to enhance performance and productivity.  In his role as CHRO, Prithvi is the steward of HCL’s “Employees First” initiative and ensures that the policies, programs, processes and practices enable employees to join, learn, perform, collaborate and grow their diverse contributions and capabilities, thus increasing the ‘value zone’ created each time they interact with clients.   Prior to joining HCL in April 2012, Prithvi was a Partner at Accenture. Since 2004, he held various responsibilities to enhance functional effectiveness and efficiency, align the design and delivery of talent acquisition and management programs and practices, and strengthen strategy development and execution. In addition to leading HR for Accenture’s businesses in India, he has helped shape Human Capital Strategy for Accenture in various geographies and supported their technology growth platform as its Global Talent Strategist. He also served as the Inclusion and Diversity Sponsor for Accenture India.   Prithvi has worked in various roles with AT&T, Vsource, Singapore Telecom, and Consistel, growing expertise in a variety of functional disciplines with a focus on learning, rewards management, organizational development and transformation, process effectiveness, and human capital transformation in a variety of business cycles, contexts and cultures, nationally and globally.   Prithvi is a professional with over 20 years of experience, committed to adding value to teams and organizations, and enhancing individual and group capabilities by developing engaging environments which facilitate the delivery of more effective service and value. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, and a Master’s degree in  Business Administration from the University of Bombay, India.
