HR Execs on the Move

In 1995, Thurston County physicians, many who operated solo or small group practices, joined together to form Physicians of Southwest Washington (PSW), an Independent Physician Association, to provide continuity of health plan access and to maximize quality of care for their patients. In 2010 Physicians of Southwest Washington expanded to Lewis County. Today, PSW represents a network of over 350 medical providers and four hospitals within the two counties.  Since it’s inception 18 years ago, PSW has supported independent and small group medical practices via collaborative and innovative efforts, good fiscal stewardship and responsible, physician-focused utilization management.
