About the Person

As Executive Vice President, Director of Human Capital, Mr. Portantino oversees the Bank`s human resources and training functions, building upon its record of continued growth, success and strategic objectives, concentrating on the expansion and development of the employee talent base, human capital organization and management.   Philip has 33 years of human resources experience, much of it in the financial services industry, with expertise in organizational development, performance management, employee engagement, direction and compensation.  He has a proven track record in building strong leadership teams in various industries, is a specialist in talent acquisition and a leader in employee administration and motivation.     He most recently served as Vice President, Human Resources and Real Estate, the Americas at Cegedim in Bedminster, NJ where he was instrumental in reorganizing major business lines and building upon business operations and units to increase profitability and support expansion and growth.    Prior to his tenure at Cegedim, Mr. Portantino held key leadership roles at Summit Bank in Princeton, NJ as Deputy Director, Organizational Development and Director of Human Resources Initiatives and Training.    Mr. Portantino holds an MBA from Monmouth University and Bachelor of Arts Degree from Villanova University.
