About the Person
Peter Marsalis, also known as Pete, is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at American Textile Company. Marsalis will fill the newly-created position, overseeing and managing American Textile Company`s worldwide investment in human capital and advancing the company`s human resources strategy to complement its growth. Marsalis comes to American Textile Company from Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he led human resources, various global initiatives and organizational leadership for major divisions of the $17 billion publicly-traded company. Previously, Marsalis spent several years at Mercer Consulting, helping employers advance the health, wealth and performance of employees. Marsalis has a Master`s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.
