Peter J. Callan served as Director of Personnel at Erie County Government from 4th January 2010 - 31st May 2015. Callan`s done it before, from 2002 to 2006 under then-County Executive Rick Schenker. Callan will oversee county personnel issues, and is expected to play a lead role in negotiating new labor contracts for more than 700 union workers. Those contracts expire in December 2010. Previously, he has also served at Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority and Human Relations Commission.
