Pete Straka is the Vice President of Human Resources at Securitas Electronic Security. Straka has 20 years of HR leadership experience in the electronic security industry. Throughout his career, Straka has led HR teams and initiatives in all facets including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, collective bargaining/labor relations, organizational design and development and a variety of other areas, according to the company. He has previously worked for SecurityLink, ADT/Tyco, HSM Electronic Protection Services and Stanley CSS. Straka holds a Bachelor`s degree in industrial/organizational psychology and a Master`s degree in labor and industrial relations from the University of Illinois.
