Bridges Outreach exists to bridge churches, schools, and communities through programming that feeds, tutors and mentors at-risk youth. Bridges Outreach creates windows of opportunity with hopes of developing each student academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
The New Mexico Consortium (NMC) is a non-profit corporation that was created in 2006 by the University of New Mexico (UNM), New Mexico State University (NMSU), and New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (NM Tech) in partnership with Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) to advance statewide collaboration in science research and promote collaboration. Science is increasingly collaborative; tackling problems at a large scale requires cross-institutional, cross-disciplinary teams. The NMC was formed to anticipate what it takes for LANL, universities and industry to work together.

Invest Newark initiates and executes economic development activities to produce and sustain economic growth, generate jobs and create wealth for the citizens of Newark. We assist companies with their location decisions including analysis of demographics, economic indicators, workforce information, available buildings and sites and other information relevant to business location decisions. Business Development and Entrepreneurship– No business is too small for us to help, whether it`s through a loan from our Grow Newark Fund or our Bond Assistance Program for construction industry firms that provides working capital loans, direct bonding assistance and technical assistance.
