Located in North East, Maryland, Cecil College is a comprehensive, open admission, learner-centered institution providing career, transfer and continuing education coursework and programs. Founded in 1968, the College is governed by a Board of Trustees that is appointed by the governor and is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Maryland Higher Education Commission. Offering more than 90 degrees and certificates, the College anticipates and meets the dynamic intellectual, cultural and economic development challenges of Cecil County and the surrounding region. In addition, Cecil College has articulation agreements with more than 30 universities and colleges, both in Maryland and outside of the state.
