Welcome to the University of Saint Mary of the Lake, also known as Mundelein Seminary, the major seminary and school of theology for the Archdiocese of Chicago. Many of our students will serve as priests of the Archdiocese of Chicago, while others study nearly 30 other dioceses in the United States and abroad. In addition, our campus is enriched by dynamic institutes that offer educational opportunities for laity, clergy, and religious.
