About the Person
Olga Giovanniello is Senior Vice-President, Human Resources, Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC). In this role, Olga is responsible for all aspects of the human resources (HR) function across Canadian Tire’s family of businesses. Olga’s mandate is to advance the talent, capabilities and culture of CTC’s workforce, to enable the Company to deliver value on its brand promise and achieve its business results. A dynamic human resources professional and business leader, Olga brings a broad range of expertise across all HR disciplines. Since joining the Company in 2008, she has positively impacted many business units within CTC by aligning HR programs and the employee experience with business goals. Prior to her current role, Olga served as Vice-President, Human Resource Solutions, where she and her team provided HR support to the Canadian Tire Retail and Financial Services businesses as well as corporate groups within the organization by translating the business strategy into actionable HR initiatives. Prior to joining CTC, Olga spent ten years at Sears Canada in various HR and business roles including Vice-President, Financial Services, where she was responsible for the development and execution of the financial services strategy in order to drive profitable growth through the credit, loyalty, insurance and gift card programs. Olga has also held management positions and senior HR roles at TD Bank, where she specialized in the creation and implementation of learning and organizational development solutions. Olga holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Education degree from the University of Toronto.
