HR Execs on the Move

Ohio Shared Information Services

www.osisonline.net

Ohio Shared Information Services began in 1999 when three Federally Qualified Health Centers came together to share their medical IT initiatives. They received a grant from HRSA, using that funding to launch a new 501(c)3 organization called Ohio Shared Information Services, or OSIS. Ohio Shared Information Services has since grown to become one of the few full-service Health Center Controlled Networks in the country. We serve clients in four states, manage our own best-in-class data center, and have a broad range of expertise in all an FQHC’s medical IT initiatives.

HROIC

HROIC is on a mission to deliver exceptional on-demand Human Resource consulting, staffing and expert witness services. HROIC provides Human Resource consulting services for start-up, fast-growth and large organizations and is comprised of a cross-functional team of HR professionals, investigators, expert witnesses, coaches, trainers and strategists. HROIC values candor, details, excellence, authenticity, the Beginner’s Mind, doing the right thing, making mistakes valuable and seeking first to understand in everything we do. Our inter-disciplinary team collectively offers centuries of HR, employment law, corporate culture, recruiting, managerial intelligence, workplace investigation, strategic growth and expert witness experience. Ellie the HROIC Elephant We are often asked why we chose an elephant to symbolize the HROIC spirit. Elephants are wise and have good memories; we make mistakes valuable, remember our lessons and impart this guidance on clients. Elephants are loyal and protective; HROIC too is fiercely protective and supportive of clients. We have all experienced the awkward feeling of navigating around an “elephant in the room.” HR professionals and employment attorneys especially can relate to having to address challenges that result from the inability to effectively deal with an “uncomfortable situation” or lead a “difficult conversation”. At HROIC, we transform workplace “elephants in the room” into opportunities to grow, learn, professionally develop and achieve excellence. How does one eat an elephant? One bite at a time, of course. HROIC is often asked to untangle complicated workplace challenges or discover unrealized employee-based potential. Initially, clients sometimes feel overwhelmed by poor leadership, low morale, pummeling employee engagement and looming litigation. Regardless of the size or nature of the engagement, HROIC’s process is consistent each step of the way.
