About the Company

Society of Grownups is a learning initiative created by MassMutual to help people through the challenges and changes in life that no one likes to talk about - the hard parts of adulthood that everyone assumes everyone else has figured out. We opened our doors in Brookline, MA, in October, 2014, where we offer classes, chats, supper clubs, guest speaker events and one-on-one sessions with financial planners in our Brookline space, along with a variety of online tools at SocietyofGrownups.com.

About the Person

I took the road less-traveled to get to the financial realm - studying anthropology, Spanish, and business and co-founding a nonprofit initiative for HIV+ women in Ethiopia. After a tenure in consumer banking, I found I was able to combine all my skills and interests in this role at Society of Grownups. It’s exciting to realize how much we can help people reach their goals by taking the time to meet them where they are.
