Liberty, is the Montgomery County Chapter of NYSARC, Inc. a statewide advocacy organization serving people with disabilities through its 55 member Chapters. Our mission: We work together to support people with disabilities and others in need to achieve a quality of life each person values. Our values — Quality, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, Resourcefulness & Person-Centered — form the foundation of all our endeavors. The Montgomery County Chapter was founded in 1957 by parents of children with developmental disabilities who wished to establish special education programs in the local community. Over the last 54 years, the organization has grown to include vocational, residential, day, family support and health-related services.
About the Person
Nicole Archibald is the Director of Human Resources at Liberty ARC. In this position, she will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and execution of the agency`s human resources and leadership development initiatives. Archibald joins Liberty from sister agency Ulster-Green ARC, where she most recently served as assistant human resources director. She has also held the position of corporate human resources director for Railex, LLC. Archibald has 15 years of extensive experience in the human resources field, in which she has created and enhanced processes, policies, procedures, systems and activities to support an organization`s strategic objectives. Archibald is a graduate of Rasmussen College with a degree in business administration/human resources, and is working towards her master`s degree at Benedictine University. She lives in Athens with her husband and three children.
