UWATX is involved in the Greater Austin community by running strategic programs such as Success By 6, Target Graduation, Financial Opportunity and the Navigation Center. We engage in civic leadership by developing corporate alliances, public/private partnerships, and philanthropic best practices. UWATX is the philanthropic backbone of Greater Austin, raising $17 million in 2011 through individual, employee, foundation, corporate and online gifts as well as engaging thousands of volunteers through annual Days of Service, employee campaign coordination, and strategic advisors (400+ volunteers committed to the mission of UWATX).
