The Catholic Health System is a multi-provider health system with three acute care hospitals, seven nursing homes, two adult homes, three homecare agencies and many primary care and rehabilitation medicine sites.
MedCentral Health System, a non-profit organization, was created January 1, 1996. With about 2,550 employees, we are the largest employer in the six-county area we serve. Our active medical staff numbers over 200 - 78 percent of whom are board certified - representing a complete range of primary care and specialty practices. We are the largest medical provider between Cleveland and Columbus, serving primarily Richland, Crawford, Ashland, Morrow, Huron and Knox counties. We are comprised of two general, acute care hospitals: Mansfield and Shelby, with a combined total of 351 beds and 42 bassinets. The largest, Mansfield Hospital with 326 beds, offers a Level II Trauma Center and a Level II Perinatal Department. We also feature complete cardiac care at MedCentral HeartCare, comprehensive neurological services, MedCentral Rapid Response walk-in medical center, MedCentral WorkAbleTM industrial health and safety services, MedCentral Home Care & Hospice, laboratory sites at both hospitals, Rapid Response and three satellites, and convenient diagnostic imaging services at both hospitals as well as a free-standing Express Imaging Center.
Fraser Health provides a wide range of integrated health care services to more than 1.5 million people living in communities stretching from Burnaby to White Rock to Hope. The Royal Columbian Hospital, located in the city of New Westminster, is the oldest hospital in British Columbia and one of Fraser Health`s busiest[citation needed]. A major tertiary care facility known for trauma care, neurosurgery and open-heart surgery, the Royal Columbian Hospital has the only program capable of performing cardiac surgery for expectant women in the Province of British Columbia. Great Circle is an agency that provides a unique spectrum of behavioral health services to children and families. Highly trained professionals provide specialized services in areas of education, autism, intensive 24/7 treatment, in-home crisis intervention, foster care and adoption through campuses and community-based service locations in Columbia, Hillsboro, Kirksville, Springfield, Steelville, St. James and St. Louis. Established as a result of the merger of Boys & Girls Town of Missouri and Edgewood Children`s Center, Great Circle is now one of the largest children`s behavioral health service organizations in Missouri. In 2013 Great Circle touched the lives of more than 16,000 children, teens and family members. Great Circle employs more than 800 staff members. Great Circle is a 501(c)(3), nonsectarian, United Way agency.
