About the Company
Alegent Creighton Health carries on the faith traditions of our founders: The Sisters of Mercy, the Immanuel Lutheran communities, and the Jesuits of Creighton University. Each brought a distinct way of practicing the Christian faith, but all shared a calling and passion for serving those most in need in our community through compassionate care and excellence in medicine. In 2012, Catholic Health Initiatives accepted full sponsorship of Alegent Creighton Health bringing the together 15 acute care hospitals, 4 behavioral health facilities, 2 specialty hospitals, over 120 clinics, and multiple health services across the Nebraska and Iowa region to carry on this healing ministry.
About the Person
Nancy Wallace is the Chief Human Resources Officer since June 2014. Previously, Nancy was the Vice President of Human Resources at Alegent Creighton Health since October 2009. She joined the Human Resources team in 1990, with responsibility for areas including benefits and compensation, recruitment and HR business partners. Ms. Wallace also provides oversight for the health system’s four Child Development Centers. Ms. Wallace believes that our Mission is what brings patients and employees to us. It guides her in making the best choices for our organization and people, and keeps her centered in times of change. Ms. Wallace has been a member of the Wellness Council of the Midlands Board of Directors since 2009, and is presently the board chair. She has also served on the board of directors for the First Nebraska Educators Credit Union since 1996.
