Nancy Scarlet, Director of Human Resources for Oakland County, has 24 years of progressive professional Human Resources experience. She oversaw the following units Labor Relations, Benefits, Retirement, Training and Development, Records, Recruitment and Workforce Planning. Other Assignments include oversight of department budget, support personnel to Budget Task Force, department representative to Board of Commissioner`s Human Resource Committee, sponsor for Oakland County Wellness Program, chairperson for Deferred Compensation Retirement Board, board member of Oakland County Employment Diversity Council, Leadership Oakland and American Red Cross. Nancy is also SPHR, Certified Senior Professional Human Resources through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has a BA in Personnel Administration and MA in Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University.
