Greater Iowa Credit Union (GICU) is a member-owned financial cooperative established in June 1932 by a group of Iowa State University employees. It has grown to serve over 36,000 members across a 33-county area in Central and Western Iowa, managing assets between $624 million and $667 million. GICU is federally insured and state-chartered, emphasizing its commitment to the financial well-being of its members and the communities it serves. We also work directly with HR departments to help them meet their expectations. Our senior-level team members assess the current state of the department, make recommendations to address concerns, and take action on the approved plan. Once the department meets its goals, we can recruit a replacement if required, and the contract will be complete. Our estimated timelines are 6 to 12 months.
GO ARMY I BEAT NAVY! The U.S. Military Academy competes as ARMY WEST POINT in a broad range of NCAA D-1 and D-2 sports. At West Point, its all fun and games for ARMY fans, but every cadet on the field or court understands that competition through their sport is a critical component for developing their leadership and teamwork skills, and especially for building personal bonds. West Points competitive sports programs support the Army values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage. It is designed to teach these values in an athletic setting. The nature of competitive sports provides opportunities that are difficult to replicate in the conventional classroom, in other extracurricular activities, or in military field training.
