With a population of more than 450,000 people, Lucas County is located in northwest Ohio and is approximately 344 square miles in size. From the county seat in Toledo (Ohio`s fourth largest city), Lucas County operates 47 separate agencies and elected offices, employs more than 4,400 people in 21 buildings throughout the county.
