Berry College offers students Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science, Master of Business Administration, Master of Education, Master of Arts in Teaching, and Education Specialist degrees from the four schools making up the academic program. The liberal arts education includes a general education program coupled with the student`s selected major. The four schools offer a total of 35 undergraduate academic majors, 35 minors, and three graduate majors. According to U.S. News and World Report Berry is currently ranked 1st among the "Up and Coming Liberal Arts colleges."
Part of the Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD), Santa Ana College (SAC) serves nearly 40,000 credit and non-credit students each semester and offers 136 certificate and associate degree programs. SAC serves the residents of Anaheim Hills, East Garden Grove, Irvine, Orange, Santa Ana, Tustin and Villa Park. The college provides education for academic transfer and careers, courses for personal and professional development, customized training for business and industry, and programs to train nurses, firefighters and law enforcement personnel.
Lincoln College, chartered Lincoln University in 1865, is a private, liberal arts college, fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. The College`s roots date back to December 1864. After investigating several sites, commissioners selected Lincoln, Illinois as the location for a new university. On February 6, 1865, a charter for the new university was secured from the Illinois General Assembly. Just six days later, on Abraham Lincoln`s last living birthday, ground was broken for University Hall, the first college building. The foundation was completed and the cornerstone laid by September 1865, and instruction for men and women began that November. The first commencement in 1868 honored three graduates. Since then, Lincoln College has taken its place among the pioneer educational institutions of the Midwest, and serves students at the Lincoln, IL campus, and at it`s satellites in Normal, Oglesby, and Peoria.
The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center consists of seven health-related colleges. The campus is located in a fifteen-block area near the Oklahoma state capitol in Oklahoma City. Several of the colleges also offer programs and health care services at the OU-Tulsa campus.
