About the Person

Michelle Graham is the Director of Human Resources and Safety Management at City of Pearland, Texas.   Graham began her employment at the City 2000 and throughout her tenure has held various positions in the Parks and Recreation Department, including Recreation Supervisor, Aquatics & Special Events Coordinator, Recreation Superintendent and Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation.   Most recently, she served as the Director of Parks and Recreation, a leadership role she held for 6 years.   She holds a bachelor`s degree in speech communication from Sam Houston State University and a master`s degree from Southern Connecticut State University.   Graham recently received the University of Houston`s Hobby Center for Public Policy “Leadership Award.”   During her interim Human Resources appointment, she has focused on improving department systems, processes and feedback.
