Minneapolis, MN-based General Mills has promoted Michael L. Davis to Executive Vice President of Global Human Resources.

About the Person

As executive vice president, Global Human Resources, Mike Davis has responsibility for all human resource functions at General Mills.   He was promoted from senior vice president in 2013. Previously, he was vice president, Human Resources for our U.S. Retail and corporate functions for three years. Prior to that, he served for nine years as vice president, Compensation & Benefits. Before joining General Mills, Davis worked for 15 years as a compensation consultant with Towers Perrin. When he left Towers Perrin in 1996, he was the firm’s worldwide practice leader for executive compensation. For the past five years, Davis has served as an adjunct professor at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is a certified public accountant.
