About the Person
Michael Chivers is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Maersk Line. Married with 3 children, Michael is responsible for Maersk Lines Human Resources function. Michael is the holder of an Executive Masters degree in Human Resource Leadership jointly issued by Rutgers, New Jersey & Bocconi, Milan and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute in People Development (FCIPD). Prior to joining ML in September 2012 Michael had held the Global HR leadership role for Sony Ericsson based in Lund, Sweden and has previously held various positions internationally in the Sony group where he worked for 17 years with postings in Singapore, Cologne and Berlin. Michael spent the early years of his HR career based in the UK having been born and educated in England.
