The Marine Institute, also located in St. John’s, is one of the world’s most respected centres for marine education and applied research. Newfoundland’s west coast is home to the Grenfell Campus of Memorial University. With about 1,250 students, Grenfell Campus offers a personalized education with degree programs in liberal arts and sciences, with a focus on the fine arts and the environment.
