Maintain, repair, and install chemical and biological detection equipment for the Department of Defense working with Force Protection. Responsibilities include, ensuring that lower-level employees are trained to meet current and forecasted support requirements; providing technical advice; submitting input for on-demand reports and trend analysis; and interfacing with the Prime Contractor and supported units as required. Applying advanced technical knowledge of electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions, and applies skill in restoring equipment operations. Read and comprehend drawings, diagrams, and manuals pertaining to the test and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic equipment. Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow. A visible ambassador to the Government and to supported units of a designated site. Provide technical and administrative input to the Site Lead or Technician 3. Supervise other technicians as assigned. Have a current SECURITY CLEARANCE
