Danfoss engineers technologies that enable the world of tomorrow to do more with less. We meet the growing need for infrastructure, food supply, energy efficiency and climate-friendly solutions. Our products and services are used in areas such as refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, motor control and mobile machinery. We are also active in the field of renewable energy as well as district heating infrastructure for cities and urban communities. Our innovative engineering dates back to 1933 and today Danfoss is a world-leader, employing more than 25,000 employees and serving customers in more than 100 countries. We are still privately held by the founding family. In 2016, net sales grew to DKK 39.2bn (EUR 5.3bn) following 6% local currency growth. EBIT improved to DKK 4.3bn (EUR 572m), equal to an EBIT margin of 10.9%. Net profit improved 13% to the record level of DKK 2.9bn (EUR 394m).
Meaghan Carpenter is Vice President, Global Talent and Diversity and Inclusion at Danfoss. Previously, Meaghan held various senior HR leadership roles in the industry.
