About the Person

Max Guinn is Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Communications, Public Affairs, and Labor Relations. He is responsible for the human resources, communications, public affairs, and labor relation functions and maximizing the company's opportunities in communicating with constituents.   Since joining the company in 1980, Guinn has held positions of increasing responsibility in quality services, supply management, and manufacturing in the agricultural, construction and forestry businesses. He was named General Manager, John Deere Seeding Group in 1995 and General Manager, John Deere Dubuque Works in 1996.   Guinn was appointed Senior Vice President, Engineering and Manufacturing, Construction & Forestry Division in 2000. He later served as Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Engineering – Global Harvesting Equipment, and was named Senior Vice President, Global Platform - Crop Harvesting, Agriculture & Turf Division, in May 2009.   Guinn graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a degree in mechanical engineering and holds an MBA from the University of Dubuque.
