About the Person

Matt Jones is the Vice President of Talent Management at Essilor, which engages in the design and manufacture of lenses for all types of visual disorders, including myopia, hypermetropia, presbyopia, and stigmatism. The company also engages in theMatthew Jones, Vice President Talent Management, Essilor of America, leads all talent acquisition & management activities for more than 11,000 domestic employees. Matthew was honored with the CLO Magazine 2009 Learning In Practice Leadership Award and his approach to talent strategy has been cited as a best practice by the Corporate Leadership Council, Bersin by Deloitte and the Center for Creative Leadership. Prior to Essilor, Matthew was a Group Manager for Frito-Lay North America where he led their sales capability initiatives and a Senior Consultant for Accenture in their Change Management Group. Matthew is active in Essilor`s Vision Foundation that serves the vision care needs of children in lower income areas. Matthew is also a certified CASA volunteer. CASA advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children while they are under the protective care of the courts.
