About the Person

Matthew Blunt serves as FTI Consulting`s Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition and is based out of the Company`s executive headquarters in Washington, D.C. Mr. Blunt is responsible for talent assessment, process optimization and leading the regional and executive recruiting efforts across the firm.   Mr. Blunt has nearly 20 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruiting. Prior to joining FTI Consulting in 2015, Mr. Blunt held numerous recruiting roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (""PwC""). Most recently, Mr. Blunt served as the U.S. Recruiting Leader in the Assurance practice of PwC, where he led the domestic and international strategy and execution of the Assurance practice`s recruiting function. Prior to this role, Mr. Blunt served as the U.S. Recruiting Leader in the Advisory practice of PwC, where he established the recruiting delivery charter with a top-down focus on customer service and compliance. From 2008-2010, Mr. Blunt was the Public Sector Recruiting Leader in the Advisory practice of PwC.   From 2007-2008, Mr. Blunt served as the Leader of Talent Acquisition in the Public Services practice of BearingPoint, Inc. now Deloitte Consulting LLP, where he was the lead for financial, business transformation and information technology, Lean Six Sigma and back office talent acquisition and executive search teams focused on U.S. public markets.   From 2003-2006, Mr. Blunt was the Regional Talent Acquisition and Human Capital Manager at Steven Myers & Associates and focused on recruiting, retention, resource management and human resources operations.   Mr. Blunt earned his bachelor`s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware. He received the Strategic Alignment Award from the HR Leadership Awards of Washington, D.C. in 2011.
