Matt Tokorcheck is the Managing Director of HR Planning and Technology at FedEx Ground, an operating company of FedEx Corporation that is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Now in his 10th year at FedEx Ground, Matt has progressed through leadership roles in Engineering, Strategy, and most recently Human Resources, where he has specialized in business-oriented Workforce Planning and next-generation HR information technology systems. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering, Matt is involved in the Institute of Industrial Engineers, and is a proponent of a data-oriented, scientific method-based approach to Human Resources. He is interested in the impact of the sharing or “gig” economy to the corporate workforce, the automation of labor, and trends in HR transformation. Matt is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and a mediocre weekend softball player.
