Founded in 1944, the Allegheny Conference is one of the nation`s leading economic and community development organizations, combining strong private sector leadership with commitment from public sector partners to move solutions to challenges forward. Our strategic focus is creating a more competitive business climate and marketing the Pittsburgh region for business investment and job creation as well as to attract talent. The Conference comprises three affiliates, each focusing on a core function: the Pennsylvania Economy League of Greater Pittsburgh (research and analysis), the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce (advocacy and public policy) and the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance (business and talent attraction marketing).
