About the Person
As Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Schmitz oversees all operations and strategic initiatives of The Boon Group Human Resources team. As our business grows, Ms. Schmitz manages all of our talent acquisition planning. Attracting and retaining the highest level talent is a top initiative for the organization and Ms. Schmitz is heading that charge. Once on board, Ms. Schmitz owns the employee experience, ensuring employees are engaged, developed and excited about their time with The Boon Group. Through the implementation of new systems and projects, Ms. Schmitz and her team are helping to create an open environment for the modern workforce. Ms. Schmitz has more than 16 years of progressive human resources leadership experience. Prior to joining The Boon Group, she started her career as a recruiter and spent the bulk of her career in New York City, running Human Resources departments for Morgan Stanley and Bear Stearns. Most recently, she served as Director of Human Resources at Kessler Topaz Melt zer and Check, a successful law firm in Philadelphia. Ms. Schmitz graduated from University of Michigan with a BA. in Political Science.
