About the Person

Marybeth N. Leamer is Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for Cox Enterprises, a leading communications, media and automotive services company.    Leamer is responsible for executive compensation, employee benefits, human resources technology systems, leadership development, training, employee relations and diversity, corporate communications and public affairs, corporate services and travel, corporate security, corporate aviation and real estate.    Leamer joined Cox Communications, the company`s broadband telecommunications subsidiary, in 1982 as a compensation analyst and served several roles before transferring to Cox Enterprises in 1986. At Cox Enterprises, she has held a number of titles, including corporate benefits administrator, manager of employee benefit plans, director of employee benefits and compensation, vice president of human resources and senior vice president of human resources and administration.    She serves on the board of directors and co-chairs the Resource Development Committee for Families First. She is also a member of HR People & Strategy (HRPS). She was previously a board member of The Bridge and the Metro Atlanta YMCA, where she served as chair of the Compensation Committee and as a member of the Strategy Planning Committee. She is a past president and board member of the Georgia chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and past president of the Human Resources Leadership Forum.      Leamer is a graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor`s degree in public relations and journalism.
