Cambridge, MA-based Cure Forward Appointed Martin Naley as Chief Executive Officer
Cure Forward is the vision of a small team in Cambridge, MA. We wanted to create a platform to connect patients with genomic medicine, bringing the possibilities of precision medicine directly in reach. A way to use the best of technology to help people diagnosed with life-altering disease discover all of their options. We want to make it easy for patients to understand the root cause of their conditions and put the knowledge to work. Get their data, find treatment options, including clinical trials. We felt making this happen was worth staying up all night.
Martin Naley is the founder and CEO of Cure Forward, a company that activates patients by giving them direct access to their biological test data in order to find relevant knowledge and options, including clinical trials. Cure Forward will open its website to consumers in 2015, beginning in oncology. The company was incubated by Apple Tree Partners, where Martin was previously an Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Martin held many roles over a span of 15 years at Life Technologies, from sales rep to CEO Chief of Staff, where he worked with partners to develop some of the first genomic sequencing-based diagnostic tests and shaped a worldwide network for genomic and clinical data sharing. Martin holds a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Cornell and an M.B.A. from Yale.
