About the Person

Marsha Edwards is the Director of Human Resources at Lane County.   Edwards came to Lane County from the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District where she currently serves as Vice Chancellor of Human Resources.   A native Oregonian, Edwards brings more than 21 years of human resources experience to her new role. Previously, Edwards served as the Dean of Human Resources at Clackamas Community College, the Director of Human Resources at Linn-Benton Community College, and as a Human Resources Coordinator with the City of Portland.   She has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management and is a graduate of Oregon State University.   She has served as the Equal Opportunity Officer and Chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council.
