Our family has grown fresh sweet cherries in Linden, California for over 60 years. The idea of drying our fresh cherries began on the ranch of 2nd generation farmer Ernie Podesta, Jane`s father, (now owner of Sunrise Fresh LLC), who always advocated for value added products to his crops. He achieved this desire through a lifetime commitment in the maraschino cherry industry and in the 1980`s built a maraschino processing facility.
