About the Person

Mark Yuran started Oct. 14, 2013 as Chief Human Resources Officer for the University of Oregon, bringing a progressive approach honed over 20 years within higher education and corporate systems.   Yuran, formerly in the same position at Minnesota State University, Moorhead, is a versatile and effective leader with a deep understanding of organizations and operations.   Yuran previously was human resources officer for the Technical College System of Georgia. He has a bachelor`s degree from the University of West Georgia and a master`s of education in human resources and organizational development from the University of Georgia.
