About the Person

Mark is currently the Vice President, Business Human Resources for AbbVie. AbbVie is a global biopharmaceutical company focused on developing advanced therapies that address some of the world`s most complex and serious diseases.   In this role, Mark leads the Business Human Resources and Employee Relations functions for the corporation. In 2011, Mark was named Divisional Vice President, Business Human Resources, Pharmaceutical Products Group for Abbott Laboratories.   Previously, Mark was Divisional Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition. Mark rejoined Abbott in 2010 as Director of Business Human Resources. Prior to rejoining Abbott, Mark held a number of Senior Human Resources roles at SC Johnson, primarily focused in Emerging Markets in the Americas and Asia.   Prior to joining SC Johnson, Mark was employed at Abbott from 1987-2004. He started in the HR Development Program and has held numerous HR leadership positions within Abbott including Director, Talent Management – Global Pharmaceutical Operations; Director, Human Resources – Global Engineering; Director, Corporate Staffing & Sourcing for the corporation. Mark started his career at Northern Trust in a variety of recruiting roles.   Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
