About the Person

Mark C. Lindgren is Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Chief Human Resources Officer for Ameren.   In his current role, Lindgren is responsible for all Human Resources, Corporate Communications and Corporate Philanthropy.   Lindgren joined Ameren in 1998, became a member of the Ameren Leadership Team in 1999, and has held several leadership roles within Human Resources.   He was promoted to vice president in 2006 and was named vice president of Human Resources in 2009. He assumed the role of chief human resources officer in 2012.   Before joining Ameren, he worked at The Franklin Life Insurance Company. There he served in a human resources leadership role.   Lindgren holds a bachelor`s degree in business from Eastern Illinois and a master`s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois-Springfield.   He has served in leadership roles on the boards of FOCUS St. Louis and Dance St. Louis, is a member of the talent council of the St. Louis Regional Commerce and Growth Association and also serves in other community support activities.
