About the Person
Marianne Silver has developed world-class recruiting and HR programs for some of the fastest-growing companies in the transportation industry. After curating and cultivating the culture and growing workforce in the 1990s that led American Backhaulers to be the second largest North American freight brokerage, she teamed up with her husband, Jeff Silver, to start Coyote in 2006, where, as the mastermind behind such rapid growth and sensational culture, she nailed a repeat performance. Thanks in part to Silver, Coyote was recognized as Chicago`s Top Workplace by the Chicago Tribune since 2011. In 2013 Coyote was named one of America`s Top Workplaces, and Silver was named one of 11 Women Who Started Amazing Companies byForbes.
