About the Person
Lynn M. Cavalier leads Human Resources and Labor Relations for FirstEnergy. After starting her career with Ohio Edison in 1981 as an associate engineer at the company`s Gorge Plant, Cavalier progressed through numerous engineering and plant leadership positions and served as marketing manager of Penn Power. She then led Ohio Edison`s Power Supply Business Growth Team, followed by the FirstEnergy Market Model Task Force. Cavalier was promoted to president of FirstEnergy`s Eastern Region – Ohio in 1997, and named vice president of Human Resources in 2001. She was promoted to senior vice president in 2005 and to her current position in 2015.
