About the Person
As Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Lupe Mujica is responsible for implementing and leading the organization`s HR strategies and programs in the areas of recruitment, performance management, organizational design, and talent and leadership development. She also manages the company`s Shared Services benefits and payroll teams, as well as all aspects of its HR information services and technology platform. Prior to joining the Executive Team, Mujica served for four years as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, for FirstService Residential`s California operations, where she also provided HR support for the company`s West Region. Her duties included providing cross-functional team leadership to her staff and providing counsel to the California senior executive team in the areas of organizational and leadership development, training, recruitment, associate relation, compensation and benefits. In addition, she led the initial implementation of the company`s Human Capital Management platform and the shared integration of its Shared Services benefits and payroll model. At completion, this initiative will include comprehensive information about 14,000 associates in the U.S. and Canada. Mujica`s background includes more than 20 years of industry experience, serving as a strategic business partner and managing HR functions for several national publicly-traded companies, including Pacific Sunwear, Toys”R”Us and Dayton Hudson. A graduate of Chapman University, she is a member of the Society of Human Resources Managers (SHRM), National Human Resources Association (NHRA) and Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA). In her spare time, she enjoys finding new avenues for channeling her passions for learning, fitness and travel.
