About the Person
Loretta Lamb is the Vice Chancellor for Human Resources at California State University effective July 22, 2014. In 2009, she was appointed to the same title for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees. In this position, Lamb advised the chancellor and Board of Trustees on succession planning, executive search and collective bargaining contract negotiations. Lamb currently serves as director of human resource operations for the University of Minnesota. Her career includes 20 years of experience in higher education human resources. She has served in a variety of offices within the Minnesota system, from affirmative action officer to chief human resources officer at Minnesota State University. She has also served as the associate vice president for Personnel and Administration at Washington State University, not too far from Gonzaga University and Gonzaga University School of Law, where Lamb earned her bachelor`s degree in social justice and juris doctorate, respectively.
