About the Person
Liz Mazzotta is the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Mutual of Omaha. In this position, Mazzotta is responsible for the integrated talent management strategy for the company with oversight for all areas of Human Resources. Mazzotta joined Mutual of Omaha in 1998 as first vice president of Corporate Learning. She was promoted to vice president of Human Resources in 1999, a position she held until she assumed her current role. She received a bachelor`s degree from Creighton University and her master`s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1995. Mazzotta is a graduate of Leadership Omaha, a program affiliated with the Omaha Area Chamber of Commerce and has received the industry designation, Senior Professional Human Resources from the Society of Human Resources Management. Mazzotta currently serves as chair emeritus of the board of trustees for Goodwill Industries; as vice chair of the board of directors for the Equal Employment Advisory Council; and as secretary of the board of trustees for Brownell-Talbot School.
