About the Person
Lisa Zangari joined OpenText in October 2014 as Chief Human Resources Officer and is accountable for shaping and driving OpenText`s culture and talent management strategies. Prior to OpenText, Lisa held the role of Senior Vice President, Human Resources, reporting to the President & CEO of IAMGOLD Corporation—a top tier Canadian-based mining company. During her five year tenure with IAMGOLD, and as a member of the Executive Committee, Lisa led the executive development process, established a global talent strategy, promoted a framework for cultural change, and developed an ongoing relationship with the HR Committee of the Board of Directors. Prior to IAMGOLD, Lisa held a variety of executive roles in strategic human resources with emerging growth companies in the gold sector, including Kinross Gold Corporation and the former Placer Dome Group. During her career, Lisa has successfully developed and led strategic talent planning processes, facilitated organizational development and cultural change—including change management and integration strategies—designed and delivered performance management, compensation, succession and leadership development programs, and managed international service and internal communications. Lisa`s passion is the application of best-in-class talent practices to allow the organization to reach its full potential. Lisa recently received the distinction of Canada`s CSTD`s Learning Leader for her work in leadership development. Lisa brings to OpenText over 20 years of strategic leadership and talent management experience with leading international emerging growth organizations. Lisa has lived in the United States and Canada and has worked internationally her entire career. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management.
