About the Person
Lisa Valk earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Western Michigan University and began a career in the banking industry immediately upon graduation. She built business lending relationships for 19 years before becoming certified as a Human Resource Specialist in 2012, motivated by a desire to work more directly with people rather than finances. At HR Collaborative, Lisa acts as an HR Manager, supporting their business customers by managing several partnerships. She excels in developing client relationships that foster growth and business expansion, and her passion is to see talented people thrive in their workplaces.
