About the Person

Lisa Mitchell-Kastner is currently VP Talent Acquisition, leading talent attraction, recruitment and staffing efforts for AT&T. Her team manages the end-to- end experience for all internal and external hires including marketing,advertising, sourcing, assessments, employee branding, college recruiting, social media, surveys, and much more.   Prior to serving in this role, Lisa was Executive Director -AT&T University, responsible for the design, development, and delivery of AT&T’s Leading with Distinction (LwD) program. The program is delivered to over 500 C-Suite & Senior level employees and over 6500 general managers across the globe. LwD is AT&T’s premier executive education program providing the most innovative leadership thinking available. Lisa also recently held the position of Director - Chief of Staff for the Home Solutions organization. She provided Chief of Staff support for the Senior Executive Vice President and President as well as seven officer teams. Her influence encompassed the AT&T’s wire line consumer organization, including Internet Protocol (IP) broadband, home phone, Customer Information Services,and AT&T’s suite of U-verse® services with nearly 36 million consumer connections across AT&T’s 21-state footprint.   Lisa began her career at AT&T in 2000 and has held multiple roles in AT&T, including in Network Planning and Engineering, Bill Audit, Budget, U-verse Program Management, U-verse Care, National Customer Support, AT&T Video Services and in the Consumer Customer Experience team. In 2014, Lisa was named a 2014 Game Changer by Workforce magazine. Recognized as one of the best and brightest young talents in human capital management today,Mitchell-Kastner is among 30 young HR professionals under 40 chosen for the award. Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Business Management from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. Lisa resides in Frisco, Texas, with her husband, Tracy, and their three children.
