Grillo served as Chief Human Capital Officer at Baltimore City Public Schools.   She had previously served as the Chief Human Resources Officer in the Baltimore County public school system.   Previously, she has also served as Assistant Superintendent for Special Education Services at Wake County Public School System and as Principal at District of Columbia Public Schools.
